Vera Grillmaier works at the intersection of art, culture, design and craftsmanship, combining an academic foundation with hands-on creative practice. Years of collaborating with designers, artists, chefs, and curators have significantly shaped her approach. She studied Communication Management, Media Culture, and Art Theory in Vienna and Lisbon, as well as Sculptural Concepts at the University of Art and Design in Linz. She completed her training as a ceramicist with the master craftsman’s certificate in 2025, adding a highly specialized practical dimension to her multifaceted background. Alongside her ceramic work, she is co-founder and managing director of NeverAtHome, an urban artistic initiative that also hosts her ceramic studio at Funkhaus Vienna.
